Hotel Augustus - Milano, Italy

me and my husband have been in Milan for 3 and a half days. hotel is good: clean, no problem to find it - very close to Central r/w station, good public transportation to all sightseeings and shopping areas, brearfast is very rich. highly recomended ! unfortunately - very narrow bed as for 2 persons and the water head was very weak in shower pipe.

Distilled water will be greatly appreciated when provided at the hotel. Breakfast was great; a wide variety of cheeses were available.

This was my second time in Italy (and Europe) and the first time in the north of Italy. I stayed in a single room with a bathroom. The room was clean. There was no view...is there a "view" in Milan? It was relatively quiet, but I was also traveling in what I would conisder the off season. The hotel was very close to the metro and one of Milan's major train stations, which was very convenient for my day trips out of the city. The only down side: I attempted to address the hotel desk clerks in Italian, but they would have none of it. They responded only in English. It was a dissappointment for someone who would like to have more exprience in practing the language.

There wasnot much choice of hotels available at the time I have booked that was central. The price for the room was too much, also not including breakfast.
