Fantasti hotel, fantastic location and really clean hotel. The hotel lobby though is far nicer than the rooms, which need a bit of refurbishment. But all the same, the rooms were extrememly clean. The breakfast was delicious and kept us going most of the day. The only thing that disappointed us slightly was the feeling that the hotel wanted to make money on absolutely everything. For example, we wanted to borrow an iron but was told we couldn't and had to pay for the laundry service and our plug adaptor wouldn't work so we asked if we could borrow one for 5 minutes but they refused and told us we had to pay 7 euros for one. I know only silly little things, but not things you would expect from a 4* hotel. However would still firmly recommend the hotel.

Ok...this review will be perplexing as a previous one was more negative. We stayed here just one night but chose it due to the good price and the proximity to the train station. As advertised, the hotel sits just across the street from the train station, which is also the depot for the Malpensa Express (shuttle bus to Milan's Malpensa airport). I believe I saw a shuttle for Linate airport as well. From station to the front door took us less than three minutes crossing one street. Staff at check in was adequate and helpful. We were pleasantly suprised by the size of our room. Compared to a room at a Venice hotel this was 4 star and large. Bathroom also larger than a typical Italian hotel bathroom and included a large tub and shower. (Most showers will be smaller than a closet.) We were on the first floor (second floor to Americans) and we did hear the subway below. Staff offered us a higher room but we were not bothered by the noise. Room was very clean, at least a couple of English speaking tv stations on the tv and pay-per-view movies were available. No free internet access which is just silly these days but so be it. Breakfast was a nice selection in a very nice dining room. Subway to the Duomo was easy access though we did not use it. If you need a hotel close to the train station (Milan Central) then I would highly recommend this one. We were sorry we weren't staying another day or two.

Was a nice property the breakfast was outstanding location near train station was good arrive early for parking

A normal hotel. Pro: conveniently situated, quiet, clean, with a very good breakfast. Contra: very small bathrooms – you can only edge yourself into it. Also, the receptionist gave totally wrong directions to the city centre – the simplest question – the tram she mentioned does not stop at the station she indicated, tramlines do not go the way she said, and the route of the tram she recommended lies far aside and does not go through the city centre. Next time I’ll only stay in this hotel if they ask 80 Euros for a double room, it isn’t worth more.

I am very satisfied. Although we booked a normal room, we got an executive room fo the same price. Very large and confortable.
