Grand Hotel Plaza - Milano, Italy

It was a great hotel for a getaway to Milan. It is in a side street next to the Duomo, and the location can't be beat. Small room but very clean and tastefully decorated. Helpful and friendly staff. Super price/quality relationship I would definitely recmmend staying here.

wir waren für 1 Nacht im Hotel wegen der zentralen Lage und der Nähe zur Mailänder Scala. Die Zimmer sind etwas älter aber noch schön eingerichtet und o.k. Der Portier hat uns erst ein noch belegtes Zimmer gegeben und auf Nachfrage nach einer Parkmöglichkeit bewußt eine falsche Auskunft gegeben. Erst als ich bei seiner Kollegin energisch auf der in der Hotelseite angepriesen Parkmöglichkeit bestanden habe, wurde im Parkhaus plötzlich doch noch ein Platz frei! Das Frühstück war miserabel!

the hotel staff was excellent. Location wasperfect for our stay.

Centrally located (a block or two from the Duomo), business-like hotel. Plain hotel exterior hid what appears to be a recent interior renovation of the public spaces. Gave me a feeling of much French influence. Rooms were large, but the linens needed to be replaced. Bathrooms were small, with only a tiny shower (but still found room for a bidet). Couldn't find any English speaking stations on the TV, but plenty of Italian, French, and Spanish. Luckily, there was plenty to see and do just minutes from the hotel--its main attraction.
