The Best Hotel - Milano, Italy     

This was an OK hotel for the price. The location was good---we walked there from the train station. The restaurant across the street was wonderful! It was close to a metro station, and we got into the city center easily. It was clean enough, but not spotless. My daughter left her sandals there, and the hotel gave us an outrageous price to mail them to another city in Italy that we would be in a week later, so we didn't do it. Someone got a $100 pair of sandals!

The hotel website shows nice pictures (flowers in the garden..) I knew there was a market on saturday morning just in front of the hotel and when I booked the rooms (1 month before my stay)for a friday night , I asked for quiet rooms facing the garden. When we arrived at 6 pm, , we had the 3 last roms (the hotel manager said) and couldn't be worst: 2 of the 3 rooms on the ground floor facing the market place! The heating was still on and the temperature was stifling!!! after 1 hour of claim, they stop the heating. We had an horrible night, because the rooms remain warm (walking on bare foot you could feel the tiled floor warm!) and it was impossible to let the windows open: too much noise in the street in the night, many cars driving all night long, and market standing in the early morning! 2 of the 3 rooms were correct , the other had a shabby bathroom with a very noisy shower , the doors of all bathrooms didn't close properly. Mattress were thin with hollow. I do not recommend this hotel.
