Zurigo Hotel - Milano, Italy 

The location was good as it is walking distance to the Duomo which is where everything is. We could walk to most places or else you can take the subway which is convenient and inexpensive. There is a station really close to the hotel. Do not stay near the central train station because it really isn't very central and its can be quite dodgey at night. Room is ok, nothing to rave about but it was tidy and clean. Bathroom was good. Service was good, again nothing to rave about but nothing to complain about also. Breakfast was also good. All the standard stuff. Nothing hot, just the usual continental breakfast, pastries, spreads, cereal, fruit etc. I would stay again if I couldn't find anything cheaper within the same location.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my mother based on tripadvisor reviews and was not disappointed. Firstly the location was fantastic - we walked absolutely everywhere. It was less than a 5 minute walk to the Duomo and close to everything. The room was a decent size with a nice bathroom and was very clean - even smelt good. The included breakfast was a bonus too - lots of choice on offer. Having travelled to Italy before, the thing that surprised me on my first vist to Milan is how un-touristy it is - we could barely even see the entrance to the last supper where as in other locations there would be a million vendors outside selling the usual rubbish! Had a fabulous time - the Prada store in the Gallaria is amazing.
