Regency Hotel - Milano, Italy 

Location: 15 minutes by foot to the Fiera Milano City (on the hotel homepage were 5 minutes advertised). 20-30 minutes to the Duomo/ centre by tram; no metro. Hotel: nice ambiente, old but restored buliding; I had a single room on the 1st floor, that was tiny ( I guess about 10 qm), no balcony; bathroom very clean and in comparison to the room spatious; very small TV with self-glued remote-control! (not really adequate for 4 stars!). Wall socket for internet access not accessible ( mirror exactly above it, so that no cable could be placed inside). Comfortable bed , quiet (I had requested a room with view to the inner court); Mini bar. Breakfast was for Italian standards very rich and good, served from 7.00 to 9.30 am. No possibility having breakfast earlier. Service was prompt and polite, pretty good. Reception employees were partially very arrogant (typical Italian), but on request also helpful in answering questions about the way, recommendation for restaurants, etc. No help with the luggage. All were more or less English speaking. In summary it was a pleasant stay, the hotel was comfortable, clean, quiet but not worth 4 stars and the price they demand for.
