Hotel Flor De Sal - Viana do Castelo, Portugal 

Muy limpio, muy atentos, y excelente situacion.

We stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon and we really enjoyed the place, especially its oceanfront location. Rooms are spacious and those facing the ocean have huge balconies. Service though is not on the same standard and a four star should know that scrambled eggs in the morning should be served hot ! Staff at the bar had no clue about the drinks being offered. We did not try the restaurant for dinner as it was totally empty. There is a large restaurant next door which is heavily frequented by the locals and offers good value for money. There are a few restaurants in town so there is no need to dine alone in the hotel. Do not forget to bring a plastic haircap for the pool as you are not allowed to enter the pool without. Otherwise the gym is nice but shared with non hotel guests. Viana do Castelo is a good starting point for seeing the North of Portugal and the hotel can definitely be recommended especially because of its location.
