4.3For my one-night stay, I had a top (6th) floor single room, with a tiny balcony overlooking the neighborhood rooftops, just charming. Yes, there was an elevator. The furniture/decor was basic, the single bed was fine, a bit narrow, but that seems to be the norm in Italy. The bathroom was spacious and very clean, lots of hot water in the shower. The young woman at the desk when I checked in (midday) was very friendly and helpful and spoke fluent English. The night clerk spoke NO English, but I was able to check out with her early in the am without difficulty. Forget the tv - ALL the channels were in Italian! Be sure to map out the way to the hotel, it's a good 10 minute walk from the metro with several turns. I think the tram and bus come closer.
