The Hotel and location were excellent albeit the bedroom a little tired, garden excellent. The service and attitude in the restaurant was however extremely poor, given that we had specifically booked an evening mealtime that that did not clash with others we found ourselves ignored by the staff for 20 minutes without being offered a drink or even menus. When we attracted someone's attention we received an offhand response which prompted us to leave. Sadly one occasionally encounters at high end price restaurants an attitude that somehow they are doing you the favour, with a mark up of 400% on the wine I don't think so. Best Western are now off my list.

We had a wonderful stay at the La Magnaneraie. The setting is beautiful - a lovely garden and a great view of Avignon from the upper terrace. Our room was very large and clean and beautifully decorated a la Provence. We would love to stay here again.
