My husband and I stayed at the Au Bel Air Hotel for a few nights in May 2008. We were very happy with the accommodation and we found it to be excellent value for the price we paid. The Hotel is a little old, but very clean and comfortable with rooms that are very spacious. It was a bonus to open the windows and enjoy a spectacular view. The owners, Dominique and Josiene were very, very helpful and friendly. The Au Bel Air was home away from home for us and if we return to Leysin, we will definitely stay there again.

We have just spent an extended weekend at hotel Au Bel Air and it really exceeded our expectations. The location was absolutely best in Leysin being right next to the cabin station. No need to spend your time at queue of those bigger ski resorts, just put the skis on and go!
The owner couple was so friendly and helpful. As they didn't have their own restaurant at the hotel, they did their best to recommend us some nice restaurants at the village and they also made the reservations. The breakfast was good enough for this standard of a hotel and the prices for drinks and snacks were reasonable. The family-room was spacious enough with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains.
We feel that we really got the value for the money and will probably go back one day.
