Hotel Villa Linda - Giardini Naxos, Italy 

This was good value at about ?50 per night, the breakfast catered quite well for the british taste. My wife and I stayed on the top floor in a double room at the front and had a great view of Etna and the sea from our balcony. The room was clean and the shower good. The girl on reception and the rest of the staff were helpful and spoke English and German. Car parking was no problem. Eating: La Spelonca (almost under the hotel) does not look much but the food is great and good value. There are four or five restaurants within five minutes walk of Linda which were all okay for food and drinks and were the best value. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the main town and the beach there is nice and sandy and good for icecream and swimming. Go to Taormina for a look, very beautiful, however it is very busy and parking is a nightmare in the town. Do Etna, worth a look but it is a rip off!! Great place Steve and Michelle Dorset

A 3 star hotel that was clean and had 3 star facilities. What made it so good was the exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We travelled with two older people who both used wheelchairs and staff could not have been more helpful and gave excellent advice as to accessibility of places we wanted to visit, where to park etc. Any small problems we encountered with our rooms were sorted instantly and enthusiastically. Very good value for money overall.
