Skier, carver, free rider, or snowboarder, cross-country skier, winter walker or romanticist: here fairy-tales still come true. The Turracher Höhe offers unique winter variety in an overlooking nature idyll at a plateau of almost 1.800 m above sea level.
Summer
The Turracher Höhe on the Nockberge mountains is an idyllic plateau at 1763 m above sea level. Turracher See, Schwarzsee and Grünsee – the three lovely mountain lakes – are framed by the inviting, soft Nockberge-peaks at a height of 2.441 m (Eisenhut). From June until October you can expect on the Turracher Höhe, together with the greatest stone pine forests of Austria, the perfect condition for movement in crystal clear, pollen free mountain air.
