Hotel Doolin - Doolin, Ireland 

Mrs. Burke Crecora, Co. Limerick. We stayed in Hotel Doolin on May Bank Holiday Weekend. The rate was similar to most four star hotels but this was a real treat and great value for money as far as we were concerned. I went with my husband and was warmly welcomed at reception. The girl behind the desk was so professional and had a warm welcoming smile for us the moment we walked through the door. She advised us to make a reservation for dinner thank god she did as the restaurand was busy and she also gave us a brief run down on the facilities in the hotel. We ate in the hotel restaurant where the food was great and we especially liked the Continental buffet for breakfast. The staff were so friendly and helpful they could not do enough for us. If i were to choose a negative i would have to say that i would have loved a view from our bedroom and maybe some of the beautiful lillies that are in reception in the bedrooms. Had a wonderful weekend and we will definately be back to Hotel Doolin sooner rather than later.

Hotel Doolin was a real and pleasant surprise for us--high thread count sheets, flatscreen tv's and high-end design throughout the hotel. It really lived up to the pictures we'd seen and exceeded our expectations through its friendly service. Deirdre the hotel manager was courteous and replied back very promptly to our booking inquiries. Checkin was a breeze and the full breakfast spread while looking out over the green fields in the back was a great way to start off our day. The location is right in the middle, with a couple of contemporary restaurants just next door. If you can't do without the big city amenities while in Doolin, Hotel Doolin is definitely for you.
