The Holiday Inn was terrific. The hotel is beautiful and has many restaurants nearby. If you leave the front entrance of the hotel turn left and walk 100 feet there is a small mall that includes supermarket with hot food. The hotel also provides free internet access. Our room was beautiful and the staff was great.

On route from Amalfi Coast to Sicily I thought I would book into a hotel in Cosenza, about half way. Little did I know that Cosenza is not exactly a happening place! On arrival we were told that there was nowhere we could have dinner in town, and we were advised to travel to Falerno, more than 50k away!!! We eventually found a little place selling pizzas only to notice after we had ordered that there was a great pizzeria just next to it. Still reception was right, we drove around for ages looking for a decent place to eat. The hotel is fine, reasonably clean and the breakfast was OK. I would recommend looking for somewhere else to stay than Cosenza!
