The thoroughful renovatìon has maintained the mystic and spiritual character of the monastery, which today is able to offer an unforgettable stay to tourists who are sensitive to art, history and nature. Once arrived in the Abbey you will be welcomed by the Costanzi family, who since almost a hundred years are the owners of the monastery. The bedrooms are all different: some with a fireplace, others with shelves and cubby holes, others with built-in wardrobes, slits and lobbies. Ask for the most beautiful ones: they are in the cloister with a breathtaking view over the valley!

The main body was built in 1500 and was a storage and guest rooms for farers and pilgrims. This has now become four double rooms and a spacious family suite.
The garden in ancient times was a market area. Today it is one of the most fascinating areas of the Monastery. It is impossible to describe the feeling guests experience when they look out onto the garden towards the valley for the first time. Who once did remains captured through the rest of the life.
We call it “The Little Cloister”, the pretty courtyard that dates back to the 15 th century. Under the shade of a pine tree one can read a good book and be only disturbed by the birds, who have their nests up in the tree.
The cloister was built in the XII century using the rare pink stone of this area. It is the heart of the residence: from here you get to the rooms, the sauna, the church, the refectory and the breakfast room. In the warm season breakfast is served in the court yard filled with the smell of jasmin flowers.
