Jolly Hotel Plaza - Genoa, Italy     

We were originally booked at the Best Western City Hotel-- however they overbooked and did not honor our reservation or promised room rate. City hotel referred us to the Jolly hotel. Overall this was a good stay. Helpful english speaking staff, local map provided. Assisted with finding directions to local sites, & also called taxis for us. efficient, clean large room. good for travelling with family. a little bit north of the area where most tourist sites are-- a bit out of the way-- but a good hotel.

A very warm welcome and extremely helpful reception. The room very simple decor, nice and clean otherwise, the only exception is that the air condition was out of order and it was very muggy.. However the staff were extremely helpful from the front desk to the chef and restaurant staff. The chef was very entertaining and it was nice of him to come out and give us some humour. Overall it was a pleasant and relaxed hotel where the staff are very friendly and approachable.
