Hotel La Terrazza - Assisi, Italy 

Arrived in a beautiful part of the world only to find a equally lovely hotel. I think our room was quite special as the view was superb. Big double doors which opened onto a balcony. Great place to sit back & watch the world go by after a hard day walking the streets of Assisi. The staff were pleasant the rooms very clean breakfast was good. A good walk to town about 1 km if that is not possible then a small bus can take you to town. It costs 1 euro and the ticket is bought from the reception at the hotel. Well worth it. A place to park the car which is secure.

I booked 2 rooms at La Terrazza on venere.com. We and our friends had rooms next door to each other which shared a beautiful balcony overlooking the spectacular Umbrian countryside. The hotel is located just 1 km from the Assisi gate. Gorgeous pool, good breakfast. We didn't dine at the hotel's restaurant but did take advantage of their bar. Very good value for the money. Would definitely stay there again.
