The manager Rita was wonderful, and also recommended a great authentic Florentine restaurant nearby that proved to be one of our culinary highlights in Italy. The apartment was comfortable, cosy and ever so quiet and also had air-con. 4.4more on Venere

The appartment as a location is a good base for exploring the city. It is however rather spartan in its furnishings, some nice furniture would have been more appreciated than a jacuzzi shower. Only the back room (bedroom) window offers a view. Nothing spectacular, just the rears of the houses of the quarter, but charming in its way, gives a sense of everyday life in the middle of Florence. Lucky that the neighbours are on the whole quiet people. Overall we had a good time, had meals on the little balcony into the enclosed courtyard, but it's not necessarily a place to come back to. 3.7more on Venere
