We had a wonderful time in Osnabruck, taking my father back there to celebrate his 70th (he was there 50 years ago.The staff in hotel Westerkamp are very friendly, relaxed and welcoming.Rooms comfy, restaurant food was excellent. Great variety for breakfast, a cook there who will cook eggs /bacon as you enter. Situated on the outskirts of the town, only a short car ride in. Free and easy access car parking at the hotel.Personally preferred this to being in the town centre. Double room turned out to be a twin room. Brother's family room was excellent though, double bed and very spacious. No bath though, only a shower in the family room. Only thing that went wrong was the restaurant service on the final night - meals didn't arrive at the same time and took a long time - it must have been a new girl's first night as this is not an overall reflection on all the staff in the hotel. Bar man made us very welcome, brought over schnapps for us to try. Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osnabruck whose budget does not quite stretch to the Remarque hotel.
