Hotel Global - Morfelden-Walldorf, Germany     

We stayed at this hotel for just one night before we were flying out to the USA. It is a bit out of the way for going into center city Frankfurt, but very convenient for getting to the airport in the morning wihout traffic. The room and bathroom were clean. It's a very basic hotel so expect no frills. We were the only Americans that I saw staying there as most of the clientele were Turkish I believe. There were prayer rugs in the closet and a compass rose on the ceiling showing which way is the proper direction to pray. Interesting. We didn't eat the breakfast there because my husband went to check it out and came back and said that there was no coffee and no cereal but they did have tea, cucumbers, tomatoes, and bread. The hotel was in a quiet location which was a plus.

Hotel Global was a good hotel at a good price. I had to book 2 rooms in a hotel near the airport the day before flying out of Germany and I chose this hotel based solely on price. The hotel was a little hard to find, but once found the staff was helpful and the hotel was clean and decent. Beds were a little hard, but I was exhausted so it was fine. The location was great .. only 7km to the airport and an easy shot 1st thing in the morning. Not a great location if you are planning on siteseeing in Frankfurt, but when you need something closeby, it is a good deal for the price. They have a lot of rooms there, so you can book last minute and get an even better price.
