Best Western Vivahotel Laurus Al Duomo - Florence, Italy

Having just returned from Florence, we enjoyed our stay in Laurus al Duomo. The location is perfect: a short walk to the Dome, Uffizi, Accademia, Ponte Vecchio. It took us only 15 minutes to get there from the airport. It is also a walking distance, about 15 minutes, from the railway station. Unfortunately we had a room - 301 - with no view ( the wall of the next building was so close that you could nearly touch it!), but the view from the roof terrace made up for it. We enjoyed a glass of Prosecco there on our last night, enjoying the amazing view, before heading out for dinner. The terrace is a great place to have your breakfast as well, weather permitting. Unfortunately it was rainy in the mornings during our stay... The room was quiet, clean and the bed comfortable, the bathroom spacious and clean with a lovely shower. The staff at the reception and the breakfast bar were polite and helpful, making us feel welcome. I would definitely stay here again, but would ask for a room on the other side of the building.
