Florence offers a wealth of sights of cultural and historical interest, including:
- Santa Maria del Fiore: Known as The Duomo, it offers panormaic views over the city.
- Piazza della Signoria: Bartolommeo Ammanati's Fountain of Neptune, a marble sculpture on the edge of a still functioning Roman aqueduct.

From the railways station:
- Take bus number 17 from Piazza Adua Square, facing the Railway Station, to Piazza Puccini Square; the Hotel Airone is within 2 minutes walking from the bus stop.
Altenatively, you can take bus number 30 from Piazza dell Stazione Square to Piazza Puccini Square.

From the airport:
There is a free shuttle bus service every 30 minutes from the airport to the Santa Maria Novella railway station.
