The Hotel is very difficult to find from the maps provided, but once you find it, there are few problems finding again! It is close to Florence - about 10 minutes to the Train Station by car. It is close to the A11 and easy to get out to the highways that take you to nearby cities, like Pisa, Lucca etc. The grounds are quite beautiful, and the swimming pool is both attractive and clean. Our children loved the tennis court. The breakfast is reasonable, although the fresh fruit salad was delicious. The staff were efficient and very helpful although not always warm. They speak excellent English. One concern: if you leave the windows open small bugs fly in and settle on the ceiling. They didn't seem to leave the ceiling much and we were not sure if they were mosquitoes or not. We had two rooms on differnt sides of the building and it happened in both rooms. We closed the windows and used the air conditioning which was a little noisy, but worked well.

VEry good in housekeeping. I lost m ring and they found and kept it but they did not call me to tell.

We wish the shuttle to Florence was available during the day rather than just 8:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Also, be sure visitors know the triples have a steep and long stairway to the master bedroom. We were lucky we both were able to go up and down stairs without any problems. Also, on cold and damp days, more heat and blankets would be appreciated.
