Travel information

By car:
From Rome:
- Exit the highway at Firenze Sud.
- Follow directions for the centre.
- Once you arrive at the traffic lights at the end of Lungarno del Tempio, turn right.
- Drive towards Piazza Beccaria, then along Viale Antonio Gramsci and Viale Giacomo Matteotti, until you reach Piazza della Libertà.
- Turn into Via Lorenzo il Magnifico.
- At the first set of traffic lights, turn left into Via Poliziano.
- Go straight down Via Santa Caterina and Via Nazionale, until you reach the Station.
- Go around Piazza Unità d'Italia and take Via del Melarancio.
- Turn right into Via del Giglio, and turn right again into Via dell'Alloro.
- When you come to the end of Via dell'Alloro, turn right into Via de' Conti.
- Drive along the entire road and turn right into Via dei Cerretani, which then becomes Via Dei Banchi. You will find the hotel on the left-hand side.

From Milan:
- Exit the highway at Firenze Nord.
- Follow directions for the centre.
- Once you reach the end of Viale Francesco Redi, turn right and then left into Via Guido Monaco.
- Drive to the end of Via Guido Monaco, and turn left into Via Fratelli Rosselli.
- After the the tunnel going under the railway, follow the Ring Roads going around the Fortezza da Basso.
- Continue down Viale Lavagnini.
- When you come to the first set of traffic lights, turn right into Via Santa Caterina and Via Nazionale, and continue driving until you reach the Station.
- Then, as above.

By air:
From the Amerigo Vespucci Florence airport, you can reach the Balcony Hotel with the shuttle service connecting the airport to the centre, or by private taxi.

By train:
From the Santa Maria Novella station, you can reach the Balcony Hotel either by private taxi or on foot: from Piazzale della Stazione you will come to Piazza Santa Maria Novella, and turning left into Via dei Banchi, you will find the hotel at number 3.
