We had a 4 person room with one shower no toilet. the shower was displayed in the middle up against a wall and was not private at all!!! some forwarning of this situation would have been nice. There is no elevator so lugging up all our stuff three flights of stairs was not fun. overall the staff was friendly with the exception of the guy with the french bulldog....what a rude person he was! he did warn us that we were staying in a 1-star hotel!!! with an attitude like his one might question why he has chosen to work in the service industry.

A very good location in the centre of Florence in an historic building. Good for independent travellers on a budget but not for people with lots of bags because its up a few flights of stairs. Liked everything about it except the breakfast.

Very simple room, appropriate to the price. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Super central location. On third floor of old building. No elevators. Shared washrooms shared among several rooms, but we didn't have any real problems in the mornings. WiFi is a pretty weak signal. We were the closest room to the office and got only spotty coverage in our room. But could get access in the breakfast room, which was next to the office. The included breakfast was the best out of our European trip--not anything fancy, but the yogurt, cereal, and brown bread and cheese were a welcome supplement to the usual coffee and white bread (occasional croissant) with butter and jam and orange juice that seemed to be the standard everywhere else.

This hotel was in a great location, right near the Duommo and the market. The room was a bit dark and it was difficult to find the check in desk. When we got there the door was closed and locked, make sure to ring the bell beside the door for service. The shared washroom was clean and not too busy although we were there in April. The internet was only really available in the downstairs commonroom. Overall a good hotel for a couple traveling on a tight budget.

The biggest plus point of the Hotel is the location, 500mts. from all the major tourist sites, so it was really nice to be able to be back to relax incase need be. However, it was extremely noisy at night, the room was street facing and the streets were extremely busy with pedestrians at night ...it seemed like people were talking jst outside the room. Breakfast was mediocre.
