Hotel Liberty - Florence, Italy

Das Hotel liegt relativ weit außerhalb. Die Zimmer sind recht groß und ruhig, aber der Garten ist so nicht nutzbar (ein Tisch neben parkenden Autos). Das Frühstück ist dürftig (z.B. kaum Käse und Wurst, 1 Teebeutel für 2 Personen!). Dafür sind die Preise zu hoch!

We spent five nights from February 16th.We didn't regret as Florence in Winter is not really too busy.The hotel is about 15-20 minutes'walk from the city center but the bus 23 is at about 5 minutes'walk from the hotel.As to the price, it 's really a bargain as we only paid 50€(Breakfast included)for 2 per night.The only negative points: the rooms are really badly heated and we were cold. I would recommend that the hotel changes its heating system and isolate the windows of the rooms because it's a pity that such beautiful rooms be badly heated, especially in winter but at that time of the year, Florence is at minus 3-4 C.The offer negative point is that it's not very easy to find restaurants around the hotel.The staff of the hotel recommended two or three.Overall,I can only recommend this hotel but will you choose to go to Florence in Winter ?

We chose the hotel because of the parking possibilities (rather expensive). The overall standard does not match 3 star hotel according to our experiences in Italy. We got a small room for three facing the very busy road - very noisy indeed! Appreciated use of the Wi-Fi in the reception area. There was not enough possibilities for hanging up towels and clothes. The hotel could gain on a redecoration. Nice people, good coffee and tea in the bar.
