Hotel Wanda - Florence, Italy

I would discribe the character of Wanda more as a mixture between appartment and Bed&Breakfast (without Breakfast) rather than a hotel. Nevertheless, for the price, Wanda offers a perfect place to stay close to the highlights of Florence. Beatrice was very helpfull with parking the car.

The service was excellent, with breakfast each morning and kind and attentive staff. The location was easy walking distance to museums, restaurants, river, and plenty of gelati. The room was very large and pretty, with an attached bath.

Don't be dettered by outside of hotel wanda..once you get up the stairs it offers lovely spacious rooms with awesome paintings on the ceilings. Good location about 10mins walk to tourist areas. Little bakeries where you can purchase pastries for breakfast etc directly underneath hotel... so cheap! Overall, offers great value for money and a good base for exploring the lovely florence.

Located on noisy street, but windows provided excellent sound proofing. Over priced compared to some hotels we found in Italy, for the facilities provided. Perhaps Florence is over priced in general?
