Don't be dettered by outside of hotel wanda..once you get up the stairs it offers lovely spacious rooms with awesome paintings on the ceilings. Good location about 10mins walk to tourist areas. Little bakeries where you can purchase pastries for breakfast etc directly underneath hotel...
so cheap! Overall, offers great value for money and a good base for exploring the lovely florence.

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Wanda. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the duomo/uffizi and the main piazzas, but the area is very cute and there are lots of shops and good delis around for late night eating.
We might be one of the lucky ones because our room was HUGE and had a painted ceiling. There was a view to the street and the windows were practically soundproof so the noisy streets never kept us up. There is NO air conditioning so I probably would not recommend staying here in the hottest months.
The breakfast was basic bread and jam but was pleasant. Overall, We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Wanda.
