Travel information

How to reach us from the central train station (Santa Maria Novella):
- by taxi (very close, so fairly cheap)
- by bus (numbers 1, 7, 10, 17, 2nd or 3rd stop depending on where you get on, getting off in Piazza San Marco)
- on foot (7-8 minutes)
From the airport (Amerigo Vespucci, Florence):
- by taxi (15 minutes, 5 km away)
- by bus, special "Vola in Bus" service to (and from) the Santa Maria Novella railway station (see above after that)
From the airport (Galileo Galilei, Pisa):
- by train: direct connection from within the airport to the Santa Maria Novella railway station (see above after that)
By car:
Recommended exit from any direction is "Firenze Nord" then follow directions to the centre of town ("centro"). The area around the hotel is limited traffic only but you can get in to unload your luggage (in this case have your license plate number ready to be given to our staff so as not to receive a ticket). For parking there are several garages within walking distance (5 minutes, one of them is in Piazza della Libertà, EUR 15 per day).
