If you want a nice, quiet and friendly place - this is it! Wonderful to come back to after a busy day in town.10 minutes with bus to Duomo and frequent bustours.
We stayed four nights in this lovely B&B in the Botticelli room, which overlooks the quiet garden and with a glimpse of some Tuscan hills. This place offers you a good chance to experience a different side of Florence, being located about 20 minutes of brisk walking from the Ponte Vecchio on the outskirts of town. The bus stop is just 50 m from the property so for those of you not too keen on walking, there's no need to despair. You will find breakfast in the personal fridge in the kitchen and there is something for every taste in it. If the weather allows it, why not have it in the garden. Rooms are beautifully decorated and this is truly a perfect place for couples to go on a romantic mini-break.
Eating arrangements were excellent. We had our own fridge assigned to our room in a well appointed main kitchen and could eat or cook anytime of the day. The ground floor room we had opened out onto the rear garden.
Realy good quality of service and cleanliness of room. Location is really nice: 15 minutes walk we were directly on Ponte Vecchio and Boboli's garden and Porta Romana are behind the corner.
Very nice!!!
My wife and I stayed here in May and when we drove I admit that I didn't think we had the right location as it was a residential neighborhood. We were right though, and what a fantastic place. The owner is very friendly and makes sure you have a great stay. The rooms are among the largest and nicest you will find in Italy! I guess this was the first time I really stayed at a Bed and Breakfast. There is a kitchen in the building and for each room there is a minifridge with food so you are not only provide breakfast in the morning. There is always a little snack. Walking distance to the main area of Florence but the sidewalks along the way are a little thin.
