  • What a lovely hotel in a perfect location! The standard room we chose was small but more than adequate. The breakfast was generous and lovely, as was the room where we ate.. Read review

  • They were overbooked, so we were given a luxury apartment with one bedrooms, a seperate living room, kitchen and top-story views instead of our single king bedroom request. The room, the bathroom were very clean, the cleanliness for us is extremely important and this was the best in all our trip. The breakfast was excellent specially considering the breakfast standard and choices in other Italy locations and hotels, the breakfast room was grand. The staff were excellent very friendly, very helpful, over all very positive experience.. Read review

  • We booked a standard room at a substantial discount via a web service and cheekily asked for a river view. We arrived to find the not only had they given us a 3rd floor room with full river view but a suite as well! Place was spotless and comfortable - couldnt fault it even if we had paid full price. Little promoted is a wonderful bar on top floor with stunning views in two directions, after a day walking around, sipping a glass of wine there was a distinct bonus.. Read review

  • The breakfast was wonderful with the best high quality selection of buffet style choices. The breakfast room was also delightfully beautiful with a museum like elegance. What really surprised us was the outstanding view from the bar of Piazza Senorina illuminated in the evening. The staff while not overly friendly they were helpful if needed. Yes, we too were upgraded and our room was spacious with a view of the Arno. It was also equipped with a full mini bar which we used at our convenience. Call ahead or email the staff and they will reserve your time at the Uffizzi Gallery.. Read review

  • I was pleasantly surprised to find it remodeled and open so booked a room on the spur of the moment on the internet, asking for a room with a view if available. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a larger room with a view of the river and bridge. The hotel is so close to the bridge that at night the sounds of the musician on the bridge wafted into our room. We enjoyed the magnificent ceiling in the breakfast room with the bountiful buffet that included fresh fruit,American style scrambled eggs for those not satisfied with the pastries, and great caffe! The bathroom was floor to ceiling beautiful marble with good lighting. Be sure to stop into the computer room with ancient frescoes revealed during the restoration.. Read review
