We were here for 3 nights and the owner Vincenzo was lovely and very welcoming. It's very central and a short 10 min stroll to the Ponte Vecchio and historic centre. The stairs were a bit annoying. Our stay in Florence was a bit funny overall and we ended up leaving a day early but this wasn't because of the hotel. But it's hard to review when we didn't have a great florence experience.

Close to the River Arno very good views of the city surroundings close to the US embassy...well protected from any "threat" but mosquitoes. Carabinieris are all day guarding. Minimum or No use of energy saving lights turn rooms and inside area hot.

First time in Florence and absolutely loved the place and hotel. I've never met a hotel owner so friendly and helpful - he would always make sure we were comforatble. He's even offered to carry our bag up the stairs (It's got no lift despite being on the 2nd floor but that did not bother us). The room was very tidy, spacious and comfy.Will go there again the next time we visit Florence.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Duilio. Vincenzo welcomed us like family and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great time in Florence. Our room was clean and thank goodness for conveniences like wi-fi, television and A/C! All included of course. We also loved the neighborhood - so quiet, right by the river and out of the hustle & bustle of a very touristy Florence. We will definitely stay with Vincenzo again on our next visit.

Very welcoming host! From the place to the city centre is a bit far for the poeple who don't like to walk,but for me was perfcet to walk along the river Arno. It's very near to the post office,supermarket,and the theatre.For more perfection,I could not wish for my first visit in Florence ;D
