I cannot write highly enough of this hotel. Our stay here was made an absolute pleasure. The rooms were suberb.comforable, spacious, clean. the fresco on the wall just added the touch of class. the breakfast and breakfast room was seccond to none. huge choice and sitting next to a fountain. the rooftop bar is a must see. a magnificant view of the dome and florence while relaxing.i will return to florence again if it is just to stay in this hotel. if there was a rating better than excellent then this hotel would get it

This is my second time to stay at this hotel. I paid for a superior double but the room was all bed. The last time I stayed here I had a much more spacious room and bathroom but it was on the street and I did enjoy looking on the garden restaurant and it was very quiet this time. The best thing about this hotel is the rooftop bar! The bartender is wonderful and I can't say enough about him. It was the only reason I came back to the hotel. The bartender and the rooftop bar with a spectacular view of Florence. You can't bet it.

I did not feel this hotel was up to 4 star quality. It was clean and good service but as a business traveler I was most disappointed in the internet service. No internet in the rooms - they said there was wireless in the lobby but it never worked. The safe in my room did not work. I was moved to another room and that safe did not work either.
