hotel stupendo come la location ma quello che fa scadere il livello della qualità è il personale delle colazioni veramente maleducato che offre sorrisi falsi e dopo vieni mandato a quel paese!sala colazioni piccola e con poco tempo a disposizione per godersi in pace la colazione dopo il risveglio..consiglio al direttore di gestire meglio il tutto e scegliere personale educato e sopratutto qualificato per le colazioni!veramente gradevole e disponibile è stata la signora Lucia al ricevimento alla quale va un grande ringraziamento per la sua gentilezza.

Small boutique hotel in great location in middle of all the major attractions in Florence. Don't need to walk far from this hotel location to visit like Ufizie museum, Dorce, etc. Map this location relative to the attractions on Yahoo map to see what I mean. Room is quiet, no mechanical noises or street sound since I got room in back of hotel. OK, here are the down side: Tiny room with no view and small plain bathroom, a bit stiff price of 230 euros for Best Western type of hotel. Breakfast selection is lousy, but the staff are pleasant and polite. Nearby restaurant like Il Corpiscono within 4 min walking distance is great. It is right next to the Lorenzo church. We ate there 2 nites in a row. Service is excellent and food very good for the price. Special of the day was half a lobster on bed of linguine for only 18 euros and glass of wine 6 euros. No automatic gratuity like other places. The owner Franco's daughter is a real looker too. Went there based on advise from trip advisor travelers and was not disappointed. Mamma Gina was recommended but closed, it's tiny and did not seem as nice as Corpiscono anyway.
