My favorite hotel in Florence

I have been to Florence 14 times and stayed here 11 times. It is a wonderful place to stay. The front desk people are great. There is a swimming pool in its charming back garden, a lovely lobby, very nice rooms (some with balconies), and a sumptuous breakfast room. The hotel is a 10 minutes walk from the train station. As you exit the station take the left exit, cross the street, and walk to via della Scala. There are many restaurants nearby, and the Uffizi and Accademia a 15 - 20 min walk. The Arno is a short walk.

Not bad, but small room!!!

The Hotel is nice..it has a nice bar area with a piano ..breakfast is okay... the room was tiny...tiny ..tiny. However, every room in this hotel is different. If you're lucky, you'll get one of the bigger rooms. Our shower was very small..but like I said..every room is different. It wouldn't hurt to put a call in and make a special request. Location was great.. Staff was pleasant. Good stay.
