My husband and I stayed here with our 2 young children for 2 nights in August. We used starwood points and were upgraded to a wonderful junior suite. Originally we had booked one night, as we were staying in a villa in Lucca but we didn't want to just do a daytrip into Florence. However, as soon as we checked in, saw our gorgeous room with terrace and Arno view, and experienced the wonderful service from the doorman, the concierge and the check-in staff, we immediately booked a second night.

The location was great. 5-10 min walk from the train station and very close to a lot of the attractions. The bathroom was the only negative experience for me. There were body hair from the previous guests in the tub and on some of the towels. yuck.

hello all .. i stayed 7 days in this hotel with a group,we had 7 rooms, all of us had the same opinion, we wouldin&#39;d give it a 5 star, and sure wont have had payed that high rate . we would give it a 3 star hotel , and wont pay more than 150 euro per night (was 400Euro)<br>if you are lucky you will get a room with socalled aircondition that dont work or dont cool at all, dirty rooms, full of hair and other things that belonged to pre customers, no technology at all in hotel service, if you are looking to live in an antiche shope this is your heaven

Excellent room overlooking the Arno. Most comfortable bed wife and I ever slept in. Worth paying extra for the &quot;Baby Moon&quot; package, which includes all you can eat American style buffet breakfast (normally extremely expensive in Italy) and first run pay per view movie each night when you&#39;re ready to &quot;crash&quot; after sightseeing and dinner! Staff totally helpful. Outstanding Baccus Restaurant around the corner where we had full meals including bottle of wine and dessert for just 66 euros.
