"Very Nice Hotel, Helpful Staff"

This hotel was very easy to find, just over the road from the main train station of Florence. Once arrive checking in was quick and the lady at reception spoke excellent English. We had a room on the top floor and had our own balcony, which gave great views of the skyline of Florence, and the view was even better at night when all the buildings were lit up. The hotel was clean and well presented, and the people on reception were always glad to help, when we arrived they gave us a map of Florence that turned into our bible. This map had all the major locations and roads and it was small enough not to make you look too much like a tourist. The breakfast was ok, not much choice but it gave you something to eat before the start of your own day in Florence.

Generally a very good stay. competent staff, clean surroundings and very good location if using trains. good lighting is the room.

Unfortunately Firenze is a mess and the location of the hotel was damage due to the city being in such a situation of all distroyed to fix a tram via that was started three years ago and not yet finished. No car parking in front of the hotel and also to pick up a taxi we have to walk with lugagge.

We had a very spacious and clean room. The breakfast is good, and the free internet near the lobby is a huge perk. Staff was polite and accommodating. Location is convenient to the Santa Maria train station and about a 10 minute walk from the center of the city. Not the prettiest interior design in this hotel, but if you're in Florence, chances are you're there to see the city anyway! We had a very nice stay.

We had some problems with our originally assigned room but we were promplty given another room with much beeter facilities. People at the desk were helpful and courteous.
