Hotel Orto de' Medici - Florence, Italy 

This hotel was a shining jewel in our group tour in Italy. Great attention was paid to detail, and our 2-day stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the breakfast was a variety of healthy and delicious food, and the location is ideal for those who like to walk many of Florence's historical attractions. I will come back to Italy with my family, and when I come to Florence, this is where I will stay!

Great Place! We booked through the hotels website and were pleasantly surprised to find the hotel was all it had been made out to be. The Hotel is centrally located close to all the tourist attractions yet in a quiet environment. We stayed one night in the Superior Room and the standard room. The views of Florence and its environs from the Superior room balcony were great. The rooms were very well appointed and were clean and spacious. The charming breakfast terrace was complimented by a wholesome breakfast consisting of a selection of yoghurts, a variety of cold meats and Cheeses, cereals, and fruits. The staff were very courteous and friendly and ever willing to assist us with our queries and requests. They even booked the Accademia and Uffizi tickets for us saving us the hassle of queing up. I would definitely recommend this hotel. we'll be back when next in Firenze.
