Hotel Angelica - Florence, Italy 

Delightful and good location

This family-owned and -run hotel is excellent. We were able to walk from and to the train station nearby--as well as to the duomo, the river and the marketplace. The owners are friendly, welcoming and extremely accommodating. The rooms were good, the breakfast delicious, and the owners helpful. They made dinner reservations for us for two nights, and they were both good, moderately-priced restaurants. Everything is within walking distance. A real family atmosphere. Wonderful!

The staff were very helpful and truly seemed to care about our stay. The rooms were very neat and clean, and cheerful! The location was convenient for walking to all of the museums and sites within the city, and very close to the train station. I would highly recommend this hotel!

En general estamos muy contentos con la relación precio-calidad. No olvidemos que se trata de un dos estrellas. Es un pequeño hotel familiar muy limpio y espacioso en cuanto a las habitaciones, situado cerca de la iglesia de San Lorenzo y de la estación del tren. Entre las cosas mejorables, que no llegaron a constituir problemas serios, están que el hotel cierra a las doce de la noche, y que lo dueños son un poco desconfiados. Como muestra diré que no nos devolvieron nuestros carnets de identidad hasta el segundo día y porque nosotros insistimos. De todos modos, para como están los hoteles en Italia, nosotros lo recomendamos.

Good place to stay

This is a family run hotel, 12 spacious, clean, comfortable , simple rooms with attached bathrooms. Close to train station, safe area. Family speaks good English. Breakfast is good and included in reasonable room price. When I was there, onsite Internet access was not available. Other then this point, this is a good and cheap place to stay and highly recommended.
