In a city like Florence I expected to stay in a more traditional and picturesque hotel. This was just another hotel with no special character, for groups, and tourists that do not necessarily seek adventure... Despite the first negative impression, though, I found it a very decent and comfortable place, quiet, with good service. The rooms are quite spacious and very clean. Well located, not far from the old town. Decent meals. Make sure you have a room overlooking the garden in the front -the other side is rather noisy...

Most excellent lodging experience! Large flat screen TV in room. Spacious bathroom by European standards with a great shower. Comfortable beds for a good night's sleep after a busy site-seeing day. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy to catch bus to downtown Florence. A "must stay" hotel while in Florence!
