Hotel Derby - Florence, Italy 

Booked this hotel through our local travel agent. Came home and checked Trip advisor and wondered what on earth we were going to get. I did want to change but glad I didn't. The room was nothing like what other reports had said. It was clean and tidy. As it is an old building some of it looks a bit grotty but at the end of the day its only a place to shower and sleep - obviously the owners have taken note of the previous reports. The hotel is not badly situated and the roof garden had spectacular views of the city. Don't go with great expectations and you won't be disappointed, I expected the worst and was quite surprised.

Cuando llegamos no tenia ni letrero, el ascensor era de uno solo y sin maleta, eso si el letrero muy divertido. La habitacion era minima, desde el centro de la cama se tocaban las dos paredes, las maletas casi se quedan fuera, el baño era grande, alli se quedaron las maletas, y por la noche, una luz nos amenizaba los dulces sueños. El desayuno consistia en nocilla a discreccion y algun que otro zumo extraño.Los tenedores no debian ser conocidos por el personal del hotel, no estaban dentro de las opciones. Lo mejor del hotel era el recepcionista del turno de la tarde, encantador, en todo momento dispuesto a ayudarnos y darnos explicaciones interesantes sobre la ciudad, para el un 10 y otro para la ciudad
