5The best way to see Florence, in my opinion. Lodged on the tree-lined Viale Michaelangelo, it is a welcome rest from the hub-bub and crowds of the city, but it's only a 20-minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio, or 20 minutes in the other direction to the church of San Miniato, with a stellar view of the entire city! The rooms are huge, especially by European standards, and include a kitchenette inside a large armoire. Angela and Cherubino are friendly, and will help you with your Italian if you like. We have already decided to stay here on our next trip to Florence.
