It was my first time in this hotel but I am sure that I will be back. I love the interiors-especially bathrooms. Hotel is really design with a great modern art and sophisticated decorations. Second think is staff-charming people including somebody who helped me how to make the reservation-I think it was reservation department and also reception who is always smiling and helpful in many things. Our experience with Andel's Hotel got off to a rocky start when our small group of friends encountered a stoic young man at the reception who merely told us they were overbooked and had no room for us even though we had a confirmation and deposit. End of conversation on his part with no offer of trying to assist us in finding other accomodation. Our leader engaged in prolonged negotiation to find an acceptable resolution. The end result was Andel's comping us rooms 15 km away ( 45 min. in morning traffic from the city center) and dinner on the following evening. Since we had so little time to spend in Krakow, the distance and time lost in the morning commute was a definite inconvenience and source of irritation since the location was one of the primary reasons for choosing Andel's. The following evening we did spend at Andel's and found everything to our satisfaction. Our initial contact, however, cast a negative pall on our stay.
