We booked online through the hotel website and this was a seamless experience. The hotel is located close to the shopping zone and about 10-15 mins walk to the old city bars and restaurants. It is a 10 minute walk to the rail station. The hotel is quiet and clean, with a basement pool and restaurant that you would pass over in light of the range of eateries nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. The room itself was a good size for a standard room, clean, and very comfortable. Good air conditioning and opening windows. Only very minor negatives would be that the Hotel Guide in the room stated that the front desk stocked complimentary powerpoint adapters and shaving kits, but neither were available upon enquiry. We would stay here again.

Still a Good Hotel

Stayed here ( again ) in April 08. The hotel is under new ownership , although still marketed thru' Best Western. Still the same good reasons for staying here - position relative to the Koenigsallee and the Old Town ( and Schumachers Brauhaus across the street ! ) and decent rooms , and car parking. I've noticed some changes , but the breakfast is still very good with a fantastic selection. Still good .
