Met all my criteria for a weekend stay in Amsterdam with my friend (2 single beds):
* Excellent location, 5 mins walk from Central Station and even closer to Dam Square.
* Comfortable beds, adequate (not large) sized room
* Extremely friendly and helpful staff
* Free drink at the bar and 4pm checkout (I'm a member of the Sofitel scheme)
* Reasonable price for Amsterdam (though not cheap compared with other cities).
* Relaxing stay

The hotel location was great, within walking distances of all the sights. The beds were the best I have ever slept in!
The rooms were clean and the staff helpful.
