The Ibis hotel chain thinks 'less is more', so you'll find a very simple (if not frugal) hotel with rather limited amenities at your disposal. But what it lacks in luxury, it makes up in location: it's right in the middle of The Hague, with the Mauritshuis Museum (with the famous 'Girl with a pearl earring' by Vermeer) a mere 10 minute walk away through historic The Hague, and shops, bars and restaurants just round the corner. Want to go to the beach? The tram stop is very close to the hotel, and within 15 minutes you can be at the North Sea.
The breakfast buffet is overpriced at 12,50 euro. I find the rooms to be a bit overpriced as well, given the spartan decoration, but I compared several hotels in The Hague, and the Ibis gives you more bang for your buck.

I stayed at the Ibis Centre one night. Definately great location, good sized room, very clean and with all the amenities needed fully functioning. Also very good bed. The bathroom (pod/cabine like) is typical Ibis but great shower!
Asked for room in the back so didn't get any noise.
The not-very-welcoming receptionist failed to tell me the use of the room card into the elevators' card-holder but apart from that everything else was fine.
