The car-free resort of Zermatt is located at an altitude of 1620 meters in the south-west of Switzerland. This idyllic village in the Matter Valley nestles amongst fabulous scenery of mountains and glaciers and offers visitors a fantastic panorama of 33 four-thousand-metre peaks.
