Booked one triple and one single room through Superbreak.com for myself, two children and my mother for two nights. Superb location for the bowling alley and leisure centre (15 mins walk) where the competition we were attending was held, and right in the centre of town so my mother could visit where she had been evacuated to 69 years ago. Hotel is old worldy style, rooms were spacious,(even with three beds) had TV and DVD player and were clean and comfortable. Nice Victorian style bathroom fittings with large bath/shower. Only grievance would be that the walls were very thin and we were woken up by the couple next door returning at 2:30am with friends,so we turned our TV on at 07:30am to compensate! Breakfast was good with buffet cereal or fruits and choice of cooked breakfast. National papers available to read and nice large bar. Pub next door which served good food for evening

We chose this hotel as it is close to my daughter who lives in Kensworth. It offers accommodation at excellent weekend prices. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and the service first class. The check in/out has always been excellent Bar prices are expensive but a pub is attached to the hotel
