Overall the hotel was lovely and the breakfast was good but we felt let down over late check out which we had been told should be ok as we were a wedding party, when we checked in we were told we couldnt have late check out till 1pm instead of 12pm which would of meant the bride sitting in the reception area for an hour in her wedding dress, luckily on the morning of the wedding we asked again for late check out and after a phone call to the manager we were finally given an extra hour in one room which is all we wanted in the first place. i believe this could of been handled much better and avoided causing unnecessary stress to the bride.

My wife & I stayed here for two nights whilst I was on business. The hotel is modern and contemporary in style and is in walking distance of the station. The room was pleasantly large, with a double bed, a single bed and a sofa. Both the room itself and the bathroom were very modern. Of course, someone has to draw the short straw, and our room looked out onto the loading bay/staff smoking area/bins, but there you go. Breakfast is a self-service affair, which is appropriate. We couldn’t fault the breakfast, the coffee comes out of a machine, but is nevertheless far better than average. The room itself seemed well soundproofed and the pillows were nice. Unfortunately, it was quite muggy, and there was no air conditioning. The windows only open an inch, presumably thanks to Health and Safety, and in any case, it is very noisy being on what is essentially the ring road. Reception were regrettably unable to find a fan.
