If you want to have a hotel that is noisy, filthy, badly run, with rude staff, dirty sheets, horrendous food and is just generally awful...stay at the Royal Station Hotel in Newcastle upon Tyne. My experience there was dreadful. Go to almost any other hotel in Newcastle to get a better experience. How they have been awarded three stars is anyones guess!
